Scott Cook Lochsa Knife Consult -- The Original Integral!
Published: 6 years ago
This has been one of the most difficult videos to make. This knife represents to much about the history of knifemaking, I didn't want to get it wrong. Scott Cook was generous enough to talk to me on the phone about this knife, and I hope this video does some justice to this amazing knife!
Each one of his knives are unique. Definitely go and cee his work on his site and Instagram!!

Hi Frank, watched the vid and appreciate all the good words. Flattered and thank you. Well done. All sounds good and enjoyed the review.
All aspects of folder in shop is manual, although the rough profile of 1/2" plate TI is waterjet cut. I do have the rough profile waterjet cut outsourced. All machining, shaping, grinding, and finishing is done CNC FREE. From this brick part, I start the process of turning it into a Lochsa handle in my shop. No CNC and only manual machines, hand belt grinders, files, and paper. Just wanted to clarify this. It would take quite sometime to bandsaw or mill out profiled half inch 6al4v handles.
History
Started making knives - 1991
Asked to joined CRK - 1994
Continued shows independently from CRK throughout employment. A few independent awards during this time frame.
Left CRK - 2001
------
Best fixed blade of show 1995 - California Custom Knife Show
First prototype Lochsa displayed at OKCA 2002
First Lochsa award 2003 - Las Vegas Classic Knife Show, best tactical folder
Second Lochsa award 2004 - Chicago Custom Knife Show, best tactical.
