*Knife Review of the QSP PENGUIN!!!* (The Iconic Budget EDC Knife)

Published: 1 year ago

The QSP Penguin is a cool pocket knife with a characterizing sheepsfoot blade. The practical aspect of this shape is that with the tip you can work precisely, while you can also place your thumb on the spine of the blade to apply some more pressure during the more demanding tasks. You quickly open it with one hand with the double thumb stud and because of the linerlock your fingers will be safe.

The blade is made from D2. This is a tough type of tool steel that retains its sharpness well. You can also easily sharpen D2. Do pay attention around moisture and acids: D2 is not as stainless as certain corrosion resistant types of steel. So make sure you clean and dry it after use.The handle of this knife is made from micarta. A composite material made from textile and synthetic resin. Rock-solid, lightweight and it feels great in hand.
