Review of Real Steel S571Pro - The titanium limited edition - LUXURY for $120
Published: 8 years ago
This is my most expensive knife that I own. As you may be aware, this channel is one that focuses primarily on low cost knives that have a better than average quality for the price. Many of you may say that since I only paid $119.99 for this knife that it fits that description perfectly. For me, this is an expensive knife. I have always lived humbly on a low income and I am fine with that. And now I life off a very modest disability pension. All this to say that while I have a fair bit of knowledge and experience with knives, it is only of the low cost category. I do like expensive knives, and I like to watch reviewers like Nick Shabazz as he describes what I refer to as luxury knives.
When the S571Pro titanium came out and I saw that it www.realsteelknives.com had a price of $249 on the knife I knew right away that it was out of the question for me, because at that point my most expensive knife was less than $100USD. But for some reason I decided to look around and I came across knifecenter.com and they had it on for $119.99 and I just felt like they MUST have made a mistake on the pricing because at that point everyone else was selling it for just under $200 so I took a flying leap and pulled the trigger hard and grabbed it immediately. Now they don't even carry the knife and their G10 version costs more than I paid for the titanium limited edition.
I really like this knife a lot. It is great in almost every way, but I am deeply disappointing in the finish on the titanium, it is so easy to leave marks and "snail trails" all over it.
We have a Facebook channel and would like it if you would come by and join us there. I put up information and "up and coming" type news etc there
