CRKT Squid knife review

Published: 8 years ago

Calamari is a culinary name for squid; excellent is the knife term for this CRKT blade. The CRKT Squid, model numbers CR2490 or CR2490KS, are a pair of fish you ought to catch if you want to have some of the coolest folding knives in the neighbourhood.

This is a small-ish frame lock knife design by Lucas Burnley but it is a great knife to add to your stringer of folding blades. I generally prefer blackwash but when I bought this knife I was in a bit of a rush to order it as soon as I saw it.

Below are links for Amazon.CA and Amazon.COM

Amazon.CA (CANADA)
Stonewash version: http://amzn.to/2iiUTIM
Blackwash version: http://amzn.to/2ieEZ6f

Amazon.COM (United States of America)
has that regular stonewashed version on for less than $12.50USD
Amazon.COM for stonewash (lowest price I could find online at the time I last edited this video description):

Stonewash and Blackwash on same page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TACNL2S

I did find that KnifeWorks had the BLACKWASH version a bit cheaper than at Amazon.COM:
