Alaska Bush Camp Knife. Full Review of My First Knives of Alaska Cutting Edge.

Published: 8 years ago

Knives of Alaska has been around for a number of years and the Alaska Bush Camp Knife is over 7 years old I believe.
This knife has been around for a while and still it is not as well known as it deserves. It is a knife that is more than worthy of being checked out thoroughly.

A non glare finish on the blade will help keep you concealed in your hunting blind and the supremely well heat treated, using a freeze quench treatment system and scandi ground edge will make this knife perform every time you reach for it. The final convex grind is not exactly rare or unique in the world of fixed blades but it is not common either. KoA does everything perfectly on this knife, and then they sell it from their online factory store for only $100USD. If you want a genuine stag handle your price will double.

You can find their knives in several other online stores, but I could only find it in American stores such as Amazon.COM or KnifeWorks.com : lowest price I found online is $86 : http://www.knifeworks.com/knivesofalaskabushcampsuregriphandlewleathersheath.aspx#.WFnOuhsrKUk

The "Suregrip" rubber handle is soft enough to absorb vibration and not get too hard in Arctic temperatures, providing a sure grip in any conditions that I could imagine.
