The Buck Lux is a sub 3 inch frame lock folder in the modern style, and I think Buck hit a home run with this knife. It isn't glamorous or over the top in any way, it is subtle and understated, except for the CFS model with that touch of carbon fiber on the show side of that knife. It has a blade design that makes it a very functional EDC choice for just about everybody. It is not a self defense knife but it can serve that role if pressed due to it's great blade tip.
