The Firebird F6802AL by Ganzo is a sub 3 inch EDC knife that has it sights focused specifically on a specific market: those folks who are only allowed to publicly carry knives that are under 3 inches long.
Ganzo has confirmed that the black material in the handle is indeed TPE - a thermoplastic elastomer.
Does this knife succeed in finding a foothold in that market? I think that it does doe that.
Certainly, there are some flaws with this knife, but those are minor and I believe that Ganzo will address those issues in future knives or if they do a second edition of this knife.
