Review of the Schrade SCHF42. Best Budget Camp Knife of this Millennium?

Published: 7 years ago

Schrade released the SCHF42 and SCHF42D knives in 2015 as part of their Frontier Series of knives and in the last 2 years, I believe this knife has remained The Best Budget Camp Knife in the marketplace. There simply isn't a better $41USD knife out there in its specific type. Someone who has limited funds and wants a 5-inch camp knife simply won't be able to find a better knife at that price point. I believe that absolutely and without reservation.

This knife is made in Taiwan from 1095 carbon steel with a very fine powder coat and Grivory handle scales, all resting in a very fine leather sheath.
