Overview of the Kershaw Whirlwind 1560. A Ken Onion designed assisted folder

Published: 7 years ago

Overview of the Kershaw Whirlwind 1560. This knife is an older knife that came out early this century, and it has stuck around for quite a few years. It is unusual for a folding knife to last on the marketplace for more than a decade unless the design is special. A prime example of that is the Ontario RAT knives, and of course, the BUCK 110.

Those of you who what full reviews - no worries, I may have two overview videos in a row, but this will NOT become a pattern. I will always do Full Reviews as my main type of video over 95% of the time.

I enjoyed testing out and playing with this knife. It is a good design, very comfortable in hand I think there are a number of guys who are newer to the knife hobby who might not know about this knife

The lowest price I could find for the 1560SW version of the Whirlwind. It is $39.95 at Knife Center

You can also find versions with a combo blade (partly serrated) and versions where the blade is coated.
