Today I'm diving into a box of knives that our good friend John Emerson sent over for review, and this Kershaw Bel Air replica was the first one that caught my eye. I don't think Kershaw ever actually made a real Bel Air in plastic scales with steel liners, but I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm wrong about that.
Overall, this is a good quality replica and looks like a solid EDC option for under ten bucks. We don't know anything about the steel type or how it'll hold an edge yet - that'll have to wait for the cut testing - but the fit and finish are otherwise well done for such a budget-friendly piece. If you're looking for an affordable daily carry that doesn't break the bank, this little Kershaw might just be a great value for the money. Special thanks to John for adding this one to the testing lineup!
