Here’s the next installment in our Redneck Cutting Tests series. The CJRB Pyrite Light is one of the top rated EDC knives for 2024. It uses CJRB’s proprietary AR-RPM9 steel - which is roughly the equivalent of 9CR18MoV steel with a little extra toughness. I’m excited to see how this relatively new steel will hold up against some of the more well-known budget steels. Let’s dive in and check it out.
