Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21 with Wilson Combat Scales (Star-Benza)

Published: 5 years ago

Thank you to Tom of Blade Centered for loaning this knife for me to be able to experience a Sebenza. It was a knife that didn't blow me away when I first picked it up; but after handling it and taking it apart I came to respect it more. The Warranty is a huge selling point for the knife. It would still be a solid knife but if the warranty wasn't there I feel the value overall would be lower.
The screws being tapered and not needing to have the adjustment for the pivot is interesting. You just tighten it and the tolerance which they make the knife is such that it is set at that point.
This is on my list for a someday knife and will see if I want to get the small or large. I like the small but the larger might be one where I would get all my fingers on the handle.
I found that the fluoridated grease provides a smoother action than straight KPL nothing scientific but by feel.
