I Found This Knife by Accident… And I’m Glad I Did! | Bestech Cobber

Today, we’re checking out the Bestech Knives Cobber, an early 2026 release designed by Jake Diaz (Happy as Larry) that caught my attention during a little late-night knife browsing. With its sleek profile, lightweight build, crossbar lock, multiple deployment options, and an attractive light blue G10 handle, the Cobber looked good online—but how does it hold up once you actually get it in hand?
The Cobber features a 14C28N elongated drop-point blade, dual thumb studs, a generous blade opening, and some nicely extended jimping that provides excellent control for detail work and draw cuts. The slim G10 handle feels comfortable in hand, while the crossbar lock delivers smooth action and easy one-handed operation. At just around 3.1 ounces, this is a lightweight EDC knife that still gives you roughly a 3.25-inch cutting edge and plenty of usable handle.
Bestech also equipped the Cobber with a reversible wire pocket clip for right- or left-handed carry. The clip provides solid retention and fairly deep pocket carry with only a small amount of the knife remaining visible. Fit and finish are right where I’d expect from Bestech—the centering is on point, everything is nicely chamfered, and the action is dialed in. My only real quirk is that my finger tends to land on the crossbar lock when I try to reverse flick the blade, but that’s more about my hand placement than the knife itself.
