CJRB Rodayo: Western Style, Big Blade, Outstanding Ergonomics

The CJRB Rodayo brings a little Western flair to your EDC! Designed in collaboration with Deric Costa, this nearly 8¾-inch folding knife pairs a pistol grip inspired handle with a stonewashed AR-RPM9 drop point blade. In this review, I take a close look at its G10 handle, flipper action, liner lock, pocket carry, and standout ergonomics.
At around $55, the Rodayo offers plenty of knife for the money: a roughly 3¾-inch blade, reversible deep carry clip, solid construction, and a grip that feels fantastic in hand. The action on this one could use a little cleanup, but the detent is good and it’s already starting to smooth out. If you’ve been wishing your favorite EDC knife had another half inch of handle, this one may be worth a look.
