This Gerber Is WAY Better Than It Should Be!

In this review, I take a close look at the Gerber Slimsada, a budget-friendly D2 steel folding knife that's currently available on closeout for around $14. After being seriously impressed by the Gerber Mansfield, I wanted to see if the Slim Sada could deliver the same incredible value—and honestly, Gerber might have another winner on its hands.
In this video, I cover everything you need to know about the Gerber Slimsada, including its D2 stonewashed blade, micarta handle, frame lock, action, ergonomics, pocket clip, carry experience, fit and finish, weight, dimensions, and overall value. I also compare it to the Gerber Mansfield and explain why these two knives have restored some of my confidence in Gerber's budget lineup.
Despite a couple of minor drawbacks—like the thin frame lock and an extremely tight pocket clip—the Slim Sada offers excellent ergonomics, solid lockup, and impressive performance for the price. If you're looking for an affordable EDC folding knife under $20, this one deserves a serious look.
