UPDATE: Just got a knife the Marttiini customer service and must say it is much sharper than the one which I got from Amazon (which proves the first one was sold to me used as new or just a "lemon")
Thanks to the Marttiini customer service, great job guys, will definitely get other knives made by this company.
After getting the EnZo Camper knife I wanted to try another one, so I picked up the Marttiini Skinner.
At first glance it seemed like a good purchase - made in Finland, known company that gets good reviews, interesting looks and design.
It is budget priced, but I expected a quality at least on the level of the Swedish Moras that are sold for a lot less.
But when I received it I had an unpleasant surprise - the quality was OK (not great - some of the stitches were sloppy, the fit between the 2 pieces of the handle wasn"t perfect) but the real con was that the knife isn't sharp at all.
And I'm not talking not sharp enough - And I'm not talking not sharp enough - it is butter knife dull.
So of course I'm really disappointed and will send the knife back (luckily I bought it through Amazon so return isn't a hustle at all).
The moral of the story is: don't judge the knife by the sheath or where it is made - do your research before.
BTW - who is go blame here guys: Marttiini brand or the store that sold me the knife?
Do you have any other (better experience with Marttiini knives)?
If so - please write below in the comment section.
Thanks for watching (+reading) and I'll see you on the next one.
Cheers!
