WHY KNIFE PEOPLE HATE BALISONGS !?! (BUTTERFLY KNIVES)

I'd like to take the opportunity to dive into this discussion , as I've noticed a lot of negative stigma floating around in the edc community when it comes to their immense distaste for the butterfly knives! I don't get it...I think they're pretty amazing to be such an ancient design. That long history doesn't excuse them with a free right of existence to sone. If you hate balisongs ...I wanna know why!
