I find myself auto adjusting my grip, and using the somewhat awkward thumb ramps to my advantage, in ways that are possibly "not intended". I call this grip a pinch grip when im explaining it to others . I'm not sure if I heard it somewhere else. I'm not sure they are understanding what I'm trying to explain, but I find, at least for my hands, that the "pinch grip" offers me a massive amount of control over my precision cuts, and works well with basic task such as cutting open your Amazon packages. don't lie...that's all you use your for.
