Harbor Freight ICON Knife and Olitans T024. what's the difference.

you've seen me praise the Harbor Freight ICON IK23 and you've heard me bash the Olitans T024
you've likely heard other voices that you trust bash the Icon Knife and sing praises to the Olitans TO24.
they are very different knives besides one tiny little detail.
they're both stolen designs. one no more or less than the other.
I need help understanding the difference...we shouldn't support any stolen designs. with this I agree. but why the free pass on the olitans to24? is it ignorance ? if so does ignorance excuse the praise ?
I'm not here to judge , but if we are getting our ducks in a row...shouldn't we get them all lined up.
