Wander Tactical Centuria
Published: 1 year ago
Combined design styles of ancient Roman daggers with
iconic American combat knives. The name Centuria is
based on the division of 100 men in the Roman army.

With the Wander Tactical Centuria, the designer Dino Picco has created a massive knife even by Wander standards. While the shape of the blade is based on the American Vietnam Bowie, the handle is clearly reminiscent of the gladius of the Roman legions. This is also where the name comes from, which is based on the centurion, the division of 100 men in the Roman army. With a blade length of 19 cm, the Centuria is undoubtedly one of the large knives in the Bowie class, but has not yet crossed the border into a machete or short sword. The robust proportions with a 5 mm thick back of the blade make the stainless steel D2 the first choice for this knife. The full tang of the blade extends over the entire width of the T-shaped pommel and ends in a hammer ground at a flat angle. The black and indestructible micarta scales are screwed onto the tang with two hot-dip galvanized hexagon socket screws with countersunk heads. This knife is also provided with the characteristic Wander Tactical finish, which from the combination of grained mirror and bevel with deep streams creates an inimitable appearance of coarseness and perfection at the same time. The Kydex sheath features two Molle-compatible clips.
