Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera Test: Warrenton Cemetery
Published: 10 years ago
I recently picked up the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera during the $500 sale and decided to take it to a local cemetery. I'm new to this camera and I'm just learning how to shoot on it. I had no lens hoods or filters andthe video was shot entirely on some manual glass I had laying around from a few old SLRs. The manual glass are as follows: 2 PK mount lenses (Asahi SMC Pentax 50mm f2, Gemini 28mm f2.8) 2 MD mount (Rokkor 1.4 58mm, Rexatar 10mm 2.8), and a Canon C-Mount 12.5-75mm J6x12 1f.8 (which are the shots with vignette). Sorry I didn't label the shots, but this was my first test and I was more interested in playing with the camera settings. Inadvertently I underexposed the shots quite a bit, but was able to bring back a lot of detail with the 3-way color corrector in Final Cut Pro 7 (I'm also new to color correction). These were shot in 422 Prores HQ. Feel free to ask any additional questions below.
