Headlamp Review: Spark SG6 NW 840 lumens, XML2 with Fireworks, Cats, and Bad Jokes (2015)
Published: 9 years ago
How about a 2015 4th of July themed headlamp review? This review is for the 840 lumen SG6 NW headlamp from Spark, which uses a 18650 battery and an XML2 NW emitter. Update: 9/20/2015. I have gone back and measured the lumen output of the Spark, after making a measuring device. I used the optional reflector attachment to gather the data for lumens.
Turbo: 508 lumens
Maximum: 306 lumens
Med 2: 106 lumens
Med 1: 12.8 lumens
Min: 0.67 lumens
Then I measured the Candela and throw of just the bare emitter optic that comes standard with the light. Throw: 231 cd and 31 meters. All lumens ratings found in the video review are manufacturers ratings.
