Olight H05 and H05S Lightweight Hiking Headlamp Review and Comparison. (Red and White Light)
Published: 8 years ago
Olight has just introduced two new headlamps in 2016, the lightweight H05 and H05S with use cool white Cree XML2 LEDs and red LEDs. These headlamps are very similar to the style headlamps like Black Diamond and Princeton Tec. Both headlamps put out a maximum of 150-200 lumens, and run off two AAA batteries. Both of these lights have very long runtimes, during which they output very usable levels of light. If you need a great backpacking light, camping headlamp, or something for your Bug Out Bag or just your tool kit, look no further. In the review, I test runtimes on eneloops and Lithium primary batteries, do a beamshot comparison, and more.
I go over the features and differences of both headlamps, and compare the beam to the Fenix HL50, the Armytek Tiara, and The Armytek Wizard Pro V3.
