The Kailash Pensioner Kukri Review. A near perfect (ghurka) khukri?

Published: 5 years ago

For those of us looking for our new favorite EDC (EDK) Kukri. The Kailash Pensioner Khukri is just about perfect. Made in Nepal out of 5160 Carbon steel with a hidden tang, this is one of the lightest and stoutest kukri blades I've ever had the honor of beating on wood with. Also if I said 5150 steel in the video, I misspoke it's 5160- no one's perfect. Not even Youtubers. In this video internet art film I compare the Kailash to other popular and not popular kukris like: the Zombie Tools Vakra, the Kailash Scourge, the BudK Indian cheapie, and the popular Himalayan Imports Leaded Kukri. Check out Kailash's website below where they make all kinds of practical and slightly fantastical Kukris, bowies, machetes, and large bladed lawn swords. Orders take about a few weeks or a month or two to produce, and they're shipped from Nepal.
