Why did they only make 150 of this slipjoint? Tuya Tortuga EDC knife review.

Published: 2 years ago

The Tuya Tortuga was an extremely limited edition slipjoint, that as of yet hasn't seen a second run. Why did Tuya decide not to do another series. I mean I'm asking you- because I don't know anyone from Tuya. In this short review we look at the ergonimics, discuss the splotchy micarta, and the walk and talk. We also compare it to other slipjoints like the Benchmade Proper, the Serge slipjoint, and a Great Eastern Cutlery Barlow.
UPDATE: The Designer told me directly another run of about 200 (maybe more maybe less) is coming sometime this year. No other details at this time.
