A blast from the past! Old School Kizer Megatherium
Published: 1 week ago
Megatherium
This is the Blackwash edition of one of my favorite Kizer knives. The Megatherium designed by Elijah Isham from the days when Kizer was fearless about making weird, big, knives.
From Kizer:
The Kizer Megatherium is a legendary premium pocket knife originally debuted in 2017. It is famous for bridging the gap between artistic surrealism and functional hard-use cutlery. Named after the prehistoric giant ground sloth, the knife is universally celebrated as a milestone release that helped cement Kizer Cutlery's global reputation for top-tier manufacturing
The Vision of Elijah Isham:
The defining historical context of the Megatherium is its designer, Elijah Isham. Isham was an esteemed and highly influential knife maker known for his bold, organic, and futuristic aesthetic heavily inspired by surrealist art.
