Sigma

The Shirogorov Sigma, a collaboration with designer Dmitry Sinkevich, was originally released in late 2017

Design & Collaboration:
The Sigma is based on Dmitry Sinkevich's custom model of the same name. It is part of a series of collaborations between the two makers that began in 2010 with the Nura. The Sigma's design philosophy focuses on maintaining a large, capable 4-inch blade while keeping the overall weight extremely low—approximately 3.06 to 3.09 ounces.

Limited Edition Run:
The Sigma was released as a serialized limited edition, often found with markings like "XXX/200" on the lockbar, indicating a production run of only 200 pieces for the standard limited version.

Custom Division:
Beyond the production-limited run, even rarer Custom Division versions exist. These are marked with the "CD" logo and typically feature more intricate hand-finishing and specialized materials.

Technical Features:
It was one of the models that popularized the Multi-Row Bearing System (MRBS), which provides the "hydraulic" and smooth action Shirogorov is famous for.

Materials: The standard Sigma features an M390 steel blade and a 3D-milled carbon fiber handle with a unique "subframe" or "tab-lock" inset lock.
