Nyala

The Chris Reeve Nyala with the Insingo blade is a highly regarded fixed-blade knife designed as a modern version of a classic skinner. While it was officially discontinued in 2020, it remains a sought-after piece on the secondary market for its ergonomics and high-end materials.

Key Features & Design
The Nyala is named after a South African antelope, and its distinctive handle grooves are meant to mimic the animal's spiral horns.

Insingo Blade: A "modified Wharncliffe" or "sheepsfoot" style with a downward-sloping spine. This design provides excellent slicing performance and a stronger tip compared to traditional drop points.
Handle: Features full-tang construction with Canvas Micarta scales (available in Natural/Brown or Black). The spiral and linear grooves provide a secure, "hand-filling" grip.
Materials: Typically crafted from CPM S35VN stainless steel, known for its balance of toughness and edge retention.

Sheath: Comes with a high-quality, water-resistant leather pouch-sheath made by Gfeller Casemakers.
