We never really know what might happen, so a little preparation goes a long way. Tomorrow maybe grab a duffle bag and load some extra things.
1. Water (just a couple bottles)
2. Jacket / Blanket
3. One set of clothes
4. Shoes / Boots
5. Warm Gloves
6. Food (protein bars / trail bars)
7. Multitool
8. ? (what else?)

You may never need any of it. But it's far better to have it and never need it than to need it and not have it.
