The Evo 2.0 is a collaboration between Custom Knife Factory (CKF) and designer John "Rotten" Sorensen. Known for its impressive fit and finish, excellent ergonomics, and high-quality materials, it has become a favorite among collectors.

Key specifications

Overall Length: 7.95–8.03 inches

Blade Length: 3.6 inches

Cutting Edge: 3.2 inches

Blade Material: M390 steel

Blade Finish: Hollow ground with a hand-rubbed satin finish

Handle Material: Titanium scales

Locking Mechanism: Titanium frame lock

Pivot System: Multi-row ceramic ball bearings

Weight: Approximately 5.08–5.3 ounces, impressively light for a full titanium knife due to extensive internal milling.

Distinctive features

Premium Materials: The knife often comes with exotic materials for accent pieces, including zirconium or ZircuTi (a titanium and zirconium composite) for the pivot collar, backspacer, and pocket clip.

Exceptional Action: The knife's multi-row bearing system and well-balanced blade lead to a smooth "free-falling" action when closed. The dual thumb studs provide quick deployment.

Refined Aesthetics: The EVO 2.0 has a sleek, aggressive design, which may include a dual-tone blade finish, unique milling on the scales, and matching pivot and clip designs.

Comfortable Ergonomics: The handle features contoured lines and well-placed jimping that provide a comfortable and secure grip in various positions.

Limited Availability: The knives are often released in limited production runs and sold via pre-order. This drives up their price on the secondary market.
