The Spyderco COBOL is a unique design from Paul Alexander. Know for his own distinctive style Alexander collaborated with Spyderco on other models such as the Ikuchi, Sliverax, Parata, and Nand. The COBOL uses M390 steel on its upswept Tanto blade, and Titanium handles. This modern interpretation of a Slipjoint uses integral spring arms with seated ball bearings that index into holes on the blade to give a secured held position when open.
