Advanced Tech Double-Ender Media

Published: 13 years ago

Small enough to carry anywhere, this dual bladed auto from Advanced Tech is an inspired design the old days of Schrade's productions of the "double ender" autos. Those early ancestors of our modern day tacticals suffered from a lack of machine construction options, using only stamped fittings and molded handles and were not very popular with their weak half width leaf springs. It's 50 years since George Schrade made that knife, and Advanced Tech in Arizona has set out to revive the greatest thing in a knife since a blade - a spare blade! And we have it on authority from our friends at the Swiss Army company that this is a really good selling point! We think that if they just added high tech materials like laser cut 154CM high carbon steel heat treated to 60RC, handles machined from solid billet aircraft grade T6 alloy handle scales and anodized it in your choice of 4 colors, two high powered coil springs and a pair of safety switches so the thing won't open up in your pocket - that would be one useful and neat little pocket auto knife!
