This totally unique design from Paragon has the best blade to handle ratio you could hope for in a folding knife and an the extremely rare feature of being totally double edged on both sides. The blade is gravity powered (sorry guys in space go buy an auto) and you release it by pressing both the top and bottom of the pivot. You really have to see this yourself in your hand - what Paragon has done here is truly an amazing divergence from anything ever built that folds. When you press both the top and bottom of the pivot simultaneously the handle separates just slightly wider than the blade width and frees the lock - out comes the blade. When the blade reaches the end of the opening travel you lighten up on the pinch and the handle clamps closed under spring pressure and the blade is locked up - real tight no play at all. This knife does take just a little practice to operate smoothly but once you get the hang of it you'll find this to be one of the fastest cleanest tightest designs anyone has ever built because of the fact that the blade is entirely encased in the handle until you press the pivots simultaneously. Note: the non initiated will be stumped because pressing the top or bottom does nothing. Additionally this knife is completely ambidextrous operated with identical ease by either hand and the handle is pre drilled and tapped to reverse the clip.
