“ Death is a great leveler ”- Katherine Anne Porter - American journalist, essayist, short story writer, novelist

Presenting the Herman Knives blade, adorned with an engraving that is an original concept of the Herman Knives team, executed by Thai master engraver Monthep Chimwai, we delve into a world where technical perfection meets the depths of mythology. The blade, forged from the highest quality Swedish Damasteel Damascus steel, exhibits the 'Odin's Eye' pattern on Damacore® DC21R™, with a core of RWL34™ surrounded by layers of RWL34™ and PMC27™, offering exceptional durability and sharpness, achieving a hardness of 61 HRC.

Its mirror-polished finish not only dazzles but also enables precise cutting, embodying a fusion of art and functionality. It stands as a testament to masterful craftsmanship and a representation of deep symbolism that permeates the entire design.

On the titanium handle, backspacer, and clip, the engraving master, inspired by the creativity of Herman Knives, has brought to life the vision of the Slavic 'Lady Midday' – a beautiful yet terrifying entity known in folklore to scour fields under the midday sun, seeking victims during harvest on Polish and other Slavic lands. On the opposite side of the handle is a sinister scarecrow, guarding the fields. These two figures, rich in detail and symbolism, with golden elements – 24-karat gold representing power, 18-karat rose gold reflecting horror, and 18-karat green gold depicting the hardships of life – add profound meaning to the masterpiece.

Lady Midday, the midday demon, symbolizes the lethal dangers of the scorching sun and the injustice it brings in death to the innocent laborers in the fields. This artwork is also a subtle reference to the legendary monster hunter – the Witcher, a character created by Andrzej Sapkowski. In the Witcher universe, Lady Midday becomes one of the specters that the Witcher must overcome to save the innocent from a frightful demise.

# TheWheatfield = The Power = The horror = The hardships

The scarecrow, on the other hand, symbolizes human fears and ingenuity in combating natural forces. Together, they tell a tale of life and death, work and rest, fear and bravery, reminding us of the ongoing struggle between man and nature.
