Corey Milligan on Why Slow Food in the Tetons Matters | New West KnifeWorks Media

Published: 2 weeks ago

At the Annual New West KnifeWorks x Canewater Farm Dinner, our founder Corey Milligan spoke about why Slow Food in the Tetons matters — and why New West KnifeWorks has been a part of it.

This year, the high 90s percent of everything on the table was grown or raised right here in the Teton Valley. Nearly everyone cooking, serving, and pouring did it as a volunteer, and the vast majority of every ticket sold went straight to Slow Food in the Tetons — not the catering, not the wait staff. The work.

Corey shares why it matters to him personally: it tastes better, you know exactly where it came from, and a community that can still feed itself is a stronger one.

Thank you to everyone who made the night possible: Canewater Farm, Chef Gabriel "Gator" Guilbeau, the Teton All-Star cook crew, and the local farms, ranches, and businesses who donated food, flowers, spirits, and more to support Slow Food in the Tetons.
