---------------------

Our steal this week is this fixed blade model from Mora, the Heavy Duty Companion in military green. For being as affordable as it is, this is a pretty excellent knife, especially for hunters and fishermen who would be really putting a knife through its paces.

Mora is a Swedish manufacturer that puts out a lot of terrific fixed blade work knives that are perfect for outdoorsmen. They offer a lot of variety in functionality and style at really low prices.

The Heavy Duty Companion has a blade that comes in just over four inches long, made from high carbon steel. The handle is rubber, which gives it a really nice soft-friction grip. The large, ergonomic shape fills the hand perfectly and has absolutely nothing in the way of hotspots.

Also included is a sturdy plastic sheath with belt clip. The sheath is deceptively well designed, with a generous drip hole on the bottom and a thumb ramp up at the top to allow for a quick, silent draw.

Overall the Mora Heavy Duty Companion is a really rugged, capable fixed-blade at a pretty unbeatable price. You can click the annotation or the link in the description to learn more about this knife, and don’t forget to check back every Wednesday for our Steal of the Week. Thanks for watching, have a great day.
