This week on Warehouse Hunts we’re taking an Unexpected Journey into Middle Earth to check out some of our collectible weapon replicas from The Hobbit. These replicas come from the folks at United Cutlery and are beautiful, completely faithful recreations of your favorite swords from the films.
If you’re feeling light and fast, we’ve got the fighting knives used by everybody’s favorite pretty elf, Legolas. With knives like these you could command all manner of CGI beast in increasingly absurd ways, or shoehorn yourself into a film you have no business being a part of. For liability’s sake it’s worth noting that all of these products are strictly display items, and not intended for actual combat. As such they are not sharpened, and most include decorative plaques to facilitate wall hanging.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum from our tiny elf daggers is the unbelievably massive mace of Azog the Defiler, the bloodthirsty Orc who relentlessly pursued the company of dwarves. There are a lot of really great tiny details on this one, making for a VERY cool presentation piece. However this heavy sucker does NOT come with a wall-hanging plaque, because trust me your drywall can’t take it.
Finally, you shall not pass on these totally wizard Gandalf props. First up we’ve got ol’ Mithrandir’s troll-lair-appropriated sword Glamdring, the Foehammer. While not actually forged by the high Elves of the West, United Cutlery has offered up as close a facsimile as you can reasonably expect. We even have Gandalf the Grey’s staff, lovingly recreated right down to a slot to hide the included pipe. Unfortunately we do not stock Old Toby or Longbottom Leaf.
These are just a few quick highlights from the vast dragon’s horde of Hobbit replicas we have available from United Cutlery. We’ve also got plenty of Lord of the Rings leftovers, like Aragorn’s sword Andúril, forged from the shards of Narsil. You can click the annotation or the link in the description to learn about the whole variety we have available, and don’t forget to check back every week for an all new Warehouse Hunts.
