This weekend our special is a great EDC flipper with a lot of bang for your buck. For this knife Kershaw has joined forces with Belarusian custom knifemaker Dmitry Sinkevich to create the Nura 3.5 Flipper.

This medium sized knife features Sinkevich's personal emphasis on intelligent design, which shines through in the slim handle and excellent ergonomics. The handle measures out to 4.5” and is titanium carbo-nitride coated, then sanded to reveal a shiny steel surface, thus giving the handle a sleek futuristic design. It's made of stainless steel with machined grooves that provide style and extra grip, making this is a pretty comfortable hold. The overall weight is 3.8 ounces meaning this knife will carry very easily in any pants pocket. The pocket-clip on this model is not reversible, but is thin and unobtrusive for left or right handed opening.

Blade opens quickly with a satisfying flick of your finger thanks to a KVT ball bearing system and features jimping on the spine near the handle as well as on the flipper for additional purchase. The blade is 3.5” long and made out of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a comfortable frame lock.

Overall, the Kershaw Nura 3.5 is a sleek looking flipper with even better performance for a great price. If you need something a little smaller, check out the Nura 3.0 which sports the same unique design but with a 3 inch blade.

You can click the annotation or the link in the description to learn more about this knife, and don’t forget to check back every week for an all new Weekend Special. Thanks for watching from the KnifeCenter, serving the web community since 1995.
