Jake Hoback is an 80's kid and started making knives way back in 1990 in his back yard pounding out knives on a huge chunk of steel with a framing hammer and fence post nails. He then worked in the summer time with his best bud at his dad's blacksmith shop in Virginia City, NV. From there on out Jake was hooked and started professionally making and selling knives in 2003 and has been on a role ever since. He claims he can break a steel ball in a rubber room, which might make him the Hulk, and he manufactures his knives according to that. These are amazing hark working tools.
