The QTR-3z Templeton FACE Peck folding knife is the first of the 2012 "A-Team" series to be reworked in a full titanium frame lock format, but Quartermaster didn't just stop there! This rendition of QTR-3 boasts full titanium scales, along with a titanium spacer and steel lockbar stabilizer. Further, they slimmed down the profile of the design and added a new grind line to the blade. Quartermaster continued the vast improvements to the knife by redesigning the pocket clip from a billet of titanium, then finishing off the design with beautifully turned T-6 Torx frame screws.
