If you already own a Delica or Endura, you have one of the best-selling knives Spyderco makes. This model is a bit different from the normal C11 Delica 4 Lightweight and a must-have EDC knife in our opinion.
The defining feature of this expression of the Delica 4 is its breathtaking Damascus steel blade. Expertly crafted from D.P.S. 15 Damascus, it consists of a VG10 stainless steel core flanked by two pieces of 15-layer Damascus. The distinctive pattern of this Damascus is extremely straight to highlight the definition between the layers and is further accentuated by the blade's full-flat-grind and larger 13 mm opening hole. Added to the blade's spine is slip resistant jimping while phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action.
Equally unique is the knife's foliage green fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, which was historically reserved for a saber-ground, combo edge version of the Delica 4 popular with military personnel. The FRN handle houses the knife's skeletonized stainless steel liners and sturdy lockback mechanism and includes a four-position hourglass pocket clip that supports all possible carry configurations.
