We’ve been having a ball stress testing of these Cold Steel Chaos series fixed blades, with the Kukri going up against Mother Nature and the Tanto against the steel fender of our buyer Jason’s truck. Now we’re taking the Chaos Stiletto out against the steel fender for round 3 to see how the unique triangular blade fairs.

Like the Tanto and Kukri before it, you are getting the same full tang SK-5 carbon steel construction with black Tuff-Ex coating. An aluminum D-Ring handle protects your knuckles, and a Secure-Ex sheath provides plenty of carry options. This version’s definitive feature is the 8 inch triple-edged spike that makes this tactical trench knife well suited for thrusting and piercing. Don’t forget about that hardened steel pommel for extra impact applications.

As you can see the blade went right through the steel fender with ease. The performance of the tri-edge profile was right up there with the Chaos Tanto we tested earlier. It was so close, it’s hard to pick a winner between the two. What isn’t up for debate is how the Stiletto held up to the impact. It is more than ready for the abuse! This fixed blade has lived up to the Cold Steel Chaos pedigree and at under $40 at KnifeCenter, you won’t find a better steal than this.
