Designed by world record holding speed climber Hans Florine, the CRKT Hyphenate is a light weight, fixed blade climbing knife that gives you everything you need without slowing you down. The solid, stainless steel construction is simple and easy to maintain. The blade is armed with Veff serrations for aggressive cutting power on rope and other fibrous materials. The handle is made to accept a lanyard for additional purchase and has a center hole that matches up with a hole in the sheath allowing for a carabiner to attach the knife/sheath package to a climbing harness or other gear. The sheath is also designed to accept the knife blade from either side making the stowing of the knife much easier.
