The Ken Onion designed Homefront flipper by Columbia River Knife and Tool gives us the ultimate ease in cleaning and maintenance for a folding knife with the newly introduced "field strip" system. This system allows the knife to be easily disassembled and then reassembled in the field with out the assistance of any tools.
The blade is a tough and easy to maintain, hollow ground, AUS-8 drop point that deploys fast and smooth via the flipper tab. The blade is satin finished for an elegant look and has plenty of point and belly in the drop-point blade for most any cutting task.
The OD Green anodized 6061 aluminum scales are light and comfortable in a variety of grips with texturing and notches all around as well as an integral guard/flipper tab providing a secure in-hand feel. An inset stainless steel line gives solid lock up and the knife is carried via a stainless deep carry clip (right hand, tip-up).
