The Curtiss Knives F³ is one of the smoothest flipper I have handled bar none. This is a high performance, hard use folder, that is still compact enough for EDC use and this knife was built to use. The CTS-XHP blade have the best combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening and thanks to a compound grind it has a strong flat ground point with a razor like hollow ground edge giving you the best characteristics in both piercing and slicing.

The blade has a heavy stonewash finish and the beefy titanium handle slabs have a matching stonewash over a nice, dark acid etch giving a great contrast between the two. The polished "Bull's Eye" pivot gives some contrast as well and houses the caged bearing S.P.O.T. Pivot system that provides rocket like deployment of the blade. The pivot cover does double duty as over travel protection and a hardened steel lock face provides smooth, solid lock up of the titanium frame lock.
