The 3rd generation version of the D'Allara folder by Spyderco Knives features is an upgrade on this now classic design based on customer input from previous models. The D'Allara is a commemorative design made in honor of NYPD Officer and Spyderco enthusiast John D'Allara who was lost in the line of duty at World Trade Center Building One on September 11, 2001.

The D'Allara 3 is a rescue knife designed for every day carry and use. It features an upgraded Sheepsfoot blade made from flat ground CPM S30V for excellent slicing performance and a high level of wear and corrosion resistance. The knife is built on a stainless line construction that has been skeletonized to reduce weight with G10 scales for texture and grip. The ceramic ball lock provides very smooth operation and some of the most solid lock up around giving this knife a fixed-blade-like quality. Slim and ergonomic the D'Allara 3 carries very well and the deep carry wire pocket clip keeps it secure and discreet (reversible, tip-up only). Owning the D'Allara 3 is owing a highly functional cutting tool, a piece of Spyderco history, and a design that honors all those who have fallen in the line of duty.
