Based on the unique and eye-catching design of Gustavo Cecchini (GTC Knives) the new Kershaw Malt is sure to start some conversations. The whole knife features a very classy two-tone finish with a combination of grey PVD coating and horizontal satin. Kershaw brings some color to the table with a polished blue stainless steel pocket clip and matching blue backspacer.

Then we get to the distinctive GTC blade that calls to mind an extreme interpretation of the Japanese Tanto. The cutting edge starts like a normal, straight blade from the handle and then takes an abrupt 20 degree turn toward the spine about half way down. This creates two distinct, hollow ground cutting edges. The dual edge provide s exception slicing power as well as being very adept at detailed cutting tasks.

Add to this the SpeedSafe Assisted opening system for fast, reliable deployment and an index flipper that disappears into the handle when the blade is deployed and doubles as a bottle opener when the blade is closed and you have a stylish and multi-functional cutting tool with a custom design.
