The S.pring L.oaded T.ab system is the crowning jewel of the Zero Tolerance 0055. The SLT system operates like a normal flipper to deploy the blade while hiding the flipper tab in both open and closed positions for a streamlined look! The 0055, based off of a custom design from knife maker Gustavo T. Cecchini of GTC knives, is more than just an exercise in innovative design.
The geometric handle locks comfortably in the hand and the milling on the sides delivers weight reduction as well as texture for grip. The inside of the handles have been milled for weight reduction and is constructed with an open back minus a blue anodized aluminum partial backspacer for a pop of color. A custom designed pocket clip provides secure tip-up (reversible) carry.
The radical blade design matches the futuristic look of the knife. It also delivers optimal performance for a variety of tasks: a robust tip for piercing, a forward full flat grind for slicing and a rearward saber grind for more hard use tasks.
