The Viper Knives DAN is a Daily Assorted Needs folder and one fine gentleman's carry knife. The non-locking, sub-3" blade operates on Viper's Action Stopper mechanism (similar to a slip joint) making the DAN legal to carry in most places.
Choose from the utilitarian drop point DAN 1 or the modified Wharncliffe DAN 2. Both variants come in Bohler's N690, a great every day use steel that takes a razor sharp edge, is highly corrosion resistant and sharpens easily (performs like VG-10).
You have your choice of handle options in both models: Green G10, Burgundy Canvas Micarta, Carbon Fiber and Silver Twill. All models carry via a stainless steel deep carry pocket clip that can be set up for left or right hand, tip-up carry.
