The Thraex, Model 709 flipper from WE Knife Co. is a large, liner lock flipper made with contoured G10 handle scales and a beefy compound ground Tanto blade made of D2 tool steel.
The blade rides on a ceramic bearing pivot which, along with the ceramic detent, a snappy deployment for this tank like folder.
A more economic offering from WE the 709 Tanto comes in stonewashed or tumbled black blade finishes with G10 handle scales in OD Green, Black, or Tan.
The knife is constructed with WE's proprietary Star hardware, milled titanium back spacer, and 3D machined titanium pocket clip (right hand, tip-up) all with matching anodized gold finish. A tool is included for adjustment and maintenance.
